Ontario's Toughest Mountain Bike Race, Lost in the Rocks and Trees, is back for its 15th year in beautiful Mattawa Voyageur Country![]() July 17th 2010 THE RACE Both physically and mentally tough, this XC race has become an Ontario Classic! Take on either the approx. 62km or 110km courses. This year look for some great new twists on an old favourite. For race registration information please Click Here TAKE THE TRAIN TO THE RACE! Lost in the Rocks is partnering with the Bike Train to provide a unique way for race participants from the GTA to get to the race. Cruise down to Union Station, have your bike loaded in to a specially designed baggage car, and kick back and watch the landscape role by as the train takes you to North Bay. Once in North Bay shuttles will be available to bring you over to Mattawa for a great race weekend. NEW FESTIVAL STYLE VENUE! Pack your tent and fill the cooler, this year the race is going to be based out of Nature's Harmony Ecolodge, a spectacular 500 acre property just outside of Mattawa. The course will begin at the lodge, connect with the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System (VMUTS), make a short leg through Downtown Mattawa where the streets will be lined with spectators, before returning along the VMUTS trails to Nature's Harmony. This new venue will provide a great festival atmosphere, camping, food, outdoor showers, saunas and evening entertainment, so plan to stay the weekend!
